SARAH FLINT
ABOUT THE BRAND
SARAH FLINT is a luxury footwear brand that is handcrafted in Italy. I have been designing for the brand for three years. SARAH FLINT emphasizes the use of quality materials and skilled artisanship, ensuring comfort without compromising aesthetics. We collaborate with top Italian factories and talented artisans to develop each collection. Each piece combines classic elegance with modern design, appealing to a diverse, high-end clientele.
In addition to beautiful designs, at SARAH FLINT we are dedicated to empowering women through products and initiatives. Our brand's commitment to sustainable practices reflects a growing awareness of the environmental impact of fashion.
A quote from Sarah regarding my contribution to her brand and company
“From the moment Siena joined us, she demonstrated a rare combination of refined taste, deep brand intuition, and creative agility that made her an invaluable asset to our company.”
“Siena was promoted after just one year, a testament to her extraordinary ability to not only interpret but elevate our brand vision. She has an innate understanding of style and a keen eye for detail, whether through designing product, researching collaborative opportunities, or hand-painting custom artwork for our scarves. Her design contributions consistently reflected and enhanced the DNA of our brand.
What makes Siena truly exceptional, however, is her attitude. She is one of the most positive, collaborative, and dependable people I have had the pleasure of working with. She’s a team player through and through, always willing to roll up her sleeves, whether that means flying to Italy to oversee production or staying late to troubleshoot a last-minute development hiccup.
I give Siena my highest recommendation and know that any team would be lucky to have her. ”

Fall / Winter
Designing This Collection
Inspired by vintage glamour, travel, and classic luxury, the Orient Express Fall/Winter collection features an array of elegant footwear, from versatile travel styles to sophisticated occasion wear. Belts and silk scarves in themed designs debut in this collection, capturing the opulent, timeless essence of the iconic train. Imbued with classic elegance, modern comfort, and compelling storytelling, this collection embodies the core values of the Sarah Flint brand.
For every Sarah Flint collection, including this one, I oversee the creative direction and design process—from initial inspiration and sketching to technical design and sample refinement. Materials and styles for the Orient Express Fall/Winter collection were meticulously selected to evoke the 1920s Art Deco elegance of the train cars. Rich brown leathers and tortoiseshell patents echo the luxurious woodwork of the train’s interiors, while silk jacquard, sourced from a renowned British textile house, mirrors the ornate Art Deco fabrics used in the train’s drapery and upholstery.

Designing This Collection
This collection is inspired by the grandeur of Elizabethan England, an era celebrated for its dazzling opulence and lavish textiles that signified affluence and prestige. Defining features of the period’s fashion included grand, starched linen ruffs and sumptuous materials such as velvet, silk, and brocade, often adorned with pearls and jewelry.
Additionally, the ornate Greenwich armor of the era served as a key influence; this armor was renowned for its elaborate gilding and intricate decoration. To echo this, I incorporated metallic snake-embossed leather in gold and pewter, alongside metal chainmail mesh trim used as piping and bows on select pieces to infuse a gilded element into the collection.
For fabrics, I selected plush velvets in classic black and vivid fuchsia to provide a striking pop of color for the holiday season. The silk jacquards chosen this season are worthy of Queen Elizabeth I herself, presented in a deep Tudor red with an elaborate floral motif reminiscent of the iconic Tudor rose. Dramatic ruffles and opulent bows throughout the collection further evoke the splendor of garments from this remarkable period.
Logo & Hardware Design
Before I joined Sarah Flint, the brand lacked a logo and signifying hardware. As I set out to create a new logo and hardware applications, I began my design process by reviewing the brand ethos: fit, craft, and design. These are the three core pillars of Sarah Flint and are implemented across every style. I drew inspiration from the bow details featured on key styles and from the influence of the “Natalie,” a pointed-toe flat with an asymmetrical bow detail. The “Natalie” gained significant attention after becoming a personal favorite of Meghan Markle, which propelled the brand's visibility and popularity.
With these elements of the brand’s history in mind, I created a signature bow motif featuring three lines at its center to hold it together. These three lines symbolize the brand’s core values: fit, craft, and design. The bow motif pays homage to the style that helped establish Sarah Flint.
I have incorporated this new logo across the brand’s core and fashion assortments while also developing new categories, such as belts and small leather goods (SLGs). The logo appears as an emblem on toe caps, as a logo stud, on zipper pulls, and is integrated into buckle designs.
Since launching the new Sarah Flint logo and incorporating it across styles and collections, the brand has experienced increased sales and attracted new customers. Many logo-adorned styles have sold out online and required frequent restocking.
Embroidery & Beadwork
Design and Development
I have collaborated with skilled artisans on intricate embroidery/beadwork and precise placement of designs on upper patterns. A prime example of this can been seen across our Art Styles Series. Each season we select a famous work of art and create a rendition of it as intricate beadwork on our Natalie Flat and our Perfect Pump 85 styles.
Past Art Styles include: Starry Night (Van Gogh), Woman in Gold (Klimt), Water Lilies (Monet), and Girl Before a Mirror (Picasso)

Editorial & Styling
I shape the visual narrative from concept to final image, developing the creative direction, mood, and styling vision that define each shoot. On set, I work closely with photographers, stylists, and creative teams to refine looks in real time, ensuring every detail, from wardrobe to composition, aligns with the story. With a strong eye for aesthetics and organization, I manage and style looks seamlessly, bringing a cohesive, editorial point of view to life.
